It ate me up but I think it was good for him. I even tried to make suggestions for the next years so that the age bracket would be more fair. They had 6-8 year olds competing with 12 year olds.

Anyway.. we use it as a learning experiance, like you said. It´s a good reminder for me that it may happen more and to be prepared not to step in.

Actually, lately they have been getting ridiculed in Karate and in the park. My hubby has great advise for them but as a mommy I want to just go and take care of it all. What advise would you give?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18439689700601562619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8493411878929853236.post-90543404844804111612009-03-17T11:14:00.000-04:002009-03-17T11:14:00.000-04:00If there's a pill, I'd love to have it! I'll remind them of a time they got to go and a sibling didn't. Now it's their turn to stay home. That sort of thing.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04630288151385157311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8493411878929853236.post-19284682638864005342009-03-17T10:33:00.000-04:002009-03-17T10:33:00.000-04:00I am one of those parents that try to make things ...I am one of those parents that try to make things fair for them. Not if they put out the poochie lip... no, they won't get anything that way. For me it is harder when they have a good attitude because then is when I want to give them all. This year the girls are going through a little learning because one gets invited to bday parties and the other one can't go (it happens to both of them. It is normal because one doesn't know the other's friends from school). They have had such a great attitude that I try to make it super special for the one staying at home. I imagine things are going to get harder as they grow up...I am not looking forward to :) Is there a pill they can take to keep them little :)?Pilarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01539881148022345267noreply@blogger.com
