Socks are only acceptable with Birkenstocks, and never with a flip flop. That's just wrong. I personally can't stand to feel the socks between my toes.
Definitely the toe socks! No really. I need a pair. My feet are the coldest part of my body and I never sleep without socks, but I hate how they twist in the night.
As for the Toe Socks only at home during the winter ~maybe? I had a pair when I was little and just thinking about the way they felt around my toes, I don't think they are for me.
No socks with sandals please...LOL I kinda' like funky socks, so the toe socks actually appeal to me--but they drive me crazy when I wear them...so I don't.
Call the fashion police! We have a crime! That is a blatant disregard for common sense. Toes like to be TOGETHER, that's why only yoga freaks can spread their toes like monkeys! I guess if you can spread your toes then go ahead wear the toe socks but never and I repeat NEVER-EVER with sandels! That is just shocking! I must go bathe my eyes.
socks and sandals is a big NO. Unless you are me and just flip-flopping around the house when it's cold...or maybe just checking the mail, but I promise it's as far as go.
Toe socks are cute. I can't help but like them. My daughter wears hers all the time.
I think we may need a fashion intervention. -FringeGirl
Would you believe we call them thongs, Jill, and no... not with socks.... to me they are only suitable to wear taking a shower at a communal spot such as a campground. I have never tried the toe socks.... they might be toasty snuggled up at home on a cold night. Blessings - Jan
I agree with Liz, only with Birkenstocks. I do remember wearing socks with sandals when I was a little kid though! Maybe that explains some of my problems! :)
I'm a pastor's wife and mother of six and grandmother of an ever increasing number of adorable babies. I'm not quite an empty nester, but some of my chicks have flown the coop, and the rest are taller than I am. I'm a writer, homeschool mom and church secretary. I'm reluctantly adventurous, thanks to my having married the original Indiana Jones. I'm the only female in the house. I'm domestically challenged, although I still get the urge to pretend I can do crafts and baking every fall.

Ummmmm, no, lol! Socks with sandals are a no-no to me, although I see them fairly often.
ReplyDeleteThe toe socks would be cute on a teen!
Haha...I hate socks with sandals! Especially when it's some older guy with shorts, knee socks, and sandals...very tacky! Lol!
